Most days I just don't have time to cook. There are 6 of us. Mom and dad plus four kids, ages 18, 17, 14, 10. Two girls, two boys. Great family. We have the usual chaotic life, full of jobs and school and baseball and other social activities. We try to sit down at the dinner table together at night for dinner. Usually around 6. Sometimes later, depending on what is going on that particular day. The hardest part was actually putting something worthwhile on the table to eat before we all sat down!
But then I discovered 30 Meals in One Day. The book, "Dinner is Ready!" explains every single thing necessary in oder to put some meals in the freezer. There is even an Order of Events that walks you through every step, in order, from picking the recipes to closing the freezer door. So amazing!!
Now, when I come home and everyone is hungry and clammoring for food, it just takes me a few minutes to put something really great on the table for dinner. Sweet and Sour Chicken, Enchiladas, Stroganoff, Chili, Taco Soup, Beef and Broccoli, Lasagna, Chicken Tacos...all our favorites are there. More than 150 recipes, that not only can I put in the freezer, but my family LOVES them!
